Foundry Management Board Vacancy Elections

Three Management Board terms will expire at the end of June. To fill these positions, Foundry will seek applications from full members and hold a church conference to vote to fill the vacancies. We hope to schedule the Church Conference in early June. Once we have confirmation from our District Superintendent in the Baltimore-Washington District office, the date will be announced. If you are interested in serving, or wish to nominate someone, nomination materials can be accessed here. Copies will also be available at the front desk. Application materials are due by 11:59 PM on April 13 to nominations@foundryumc.org. Contact elizabetho.scott@gmail.com with questions.

Key Dates:

April 13, 11:59 PM: Materials due to the Governance Committee at nominations@foundryumc.org

April 22: Management Board reviews the application materials and selects a roster of nominees to be considered by the congregation

April 24: Nominees are notified and asked to compose essay

April 30: Nominee essays due

May 11: Roster of nominees are officially announced

May 18: “Meet the candidates” - The idea is to have candidates to be available in the Fellowship Hall after both services for informal conversations with interested congregants.

May 18: Early voting begins

May 25: Early voting continues

June: Plan to hold Church Conference. Date to be announced.
