Below are
listed some immediate needs we have for mission work at Foundry. To get in
touch with the mission contact for each group, please contact Contact: Michael Thompson -
Volunteers willing to work with children who have a parent in prison. -
Volunteers to deliver gifts in the DC metropolitan area at
Christmastime. Contact: Amihan Jones -
Persons interested in coordinating a one-time mission event. These
events take place once a month on the weekends, and are service-oriented.
Past events include repair work at Susanna Wesley House, cleaning with Hope
and a Home, and Habitat for Humanity. Contact: Joan Von Drehle or Janet Osborne -
All men’s clothing, especially men’s pants (in all sizes), button-down
shirts, and belts. -
Volunteers to serve on Friday mornings with clients in the birth
certificate/non-driver’s identification section or to serve with the clothing
room, on a one time or ongoing basis.

Sign a blue WIN Voter Commitment Card. Foundry has committed to sign
up 250 DC voters for the September 9th and November 4th
City Council elections. WIN’s goal with the Voter Commitment Cards is to
increase voter turnout. The commitment to vote is non-partisan, and is a
commitment to supporting the WIN agenda. Return to: |
