Baptism
Baptism is the sacrament recognizing one's initiation into the body of Christ, the church. We baptize children as well as youth and adults. At Foundry, we usually celebrate baptism on the fourth Sunday of each month. We also celebrate it on Christmas Eve and the Baptism of the Lord Sunday in January.
Our Baptism Orientation program is for all who are considering baptism for themselves and/or their children. It helps prepare parents to understand the meaning of baptism as well as the ways in which Foundry ministers to children and parents.
Parents have the option of inviting godparents to be involved not only in the rite of baptism, but more importantly, in the ongoing lives of their children. Click here for an article on godparents written by our pastor, Dean Snyder.
In order to schedule a baptism for yourself or your child, we ask that you complete a Baptism Request Form and email it to Theresa S. Thames.
Orientation takes place on the following Sundays at 12:30 PM:

*Please note that Baptism Request Forms must be submitted at least one month before requested baptism date.
If you are requesting a baptism on August 25, we must have your Baptism Request form by July 28.
