Two United Methodist Church Resolutions
The Baltimore Washington Annual Conference which met from May 26 through May 28 approved two resolutions that move the United Methodist Church to greater inclusion. One resolution submitted by Foundry and Dumbarton UMC allows a pastoral response to requests for same-gender marriages and civil unions.
Another resolution submitted by Baltimore-Washington Area Reconciling United Methodists (BWARM) putting our conference on record as supporting the removal of the "incompatibility clause" from the Book of Discipline passed overwhelmingly.
