Meet the Leadership Team for Phase II
Paul Hazen has spent over 30 years in his professional career promoting economic and social justice in the US and around the world. He is a champion of cooperatives as leader in food security, democracy building, economic development and gender equality. Paul is currently the Executive Director of the US Overseas Cooperative Development Council. The organization's mission is to build a more prosperous world through cooperatives. Over the past 25 years, Paul has held many leadership roles at Foundry United Methodist Church, focusing his attention on fundraising and financial management.
Tracey Webb is a journalist who has worked in television news for 22 years. She is a former producer for CNN and is currently a freelance producer/writer. She is enthusiastically committed to helping Foundry love God, love each other, and change the world through radical hospitality.
Brian Walker, originally from Chattanooga, TN, has been in Washington DC since 1999. He attended Howard University and has practiced architecture since 2005. He currently works at Gensler. He has attended Foundry for a little over 5 years. He currently helps teach the elementary Sunday school which he has done for the last 4 years. He loves reading, cycling, being outdoors, going to art museums, concerts and listening to podcasts. His favorite podcast includes Star Talk, The Tim Ferris Show, Snap Judgment and For Colored Nerds.
Whitney Kinsey is a native New Mexican and a life long Methodist. Whitney likes to joke that she has been in full-time ministry her entire life, since she grew up as a Pastor's Daughter and served as a youth pastor in the US and abroad for over 10 years. Whitney has a passion for empowering leaders and equipping teams, and is excited to bring her skills to Foundry. Whitney and her partner live in NE DC, and can be found running, traveling, and enjoying new adventures.
