Candidates for Foundry's Management Board
17 candidates have been nominated for Foundry’s Management Board. We affirm and appreciate their call to ministry as a candidate for this new leadership structure. Through this next phase of voting by the Church Conference process, a 9-member Management Board will be elected from this slate of 17 candidates.
As you review the candidates for the Board, we offer these qualifications that the Board’s Bylaws describes for its members: compassion, competence, creativity, demonstrated financial commitment to Foundry UMC, demonstrated commitment to serving in an area of ministry or mission, availability to make the time commitment; as well as have skills relevant to human resources, operations and resource management. These candidates were nominated based on their qualifications and characteristics, as well as their willingness to serve Foundry as leadership that reflects our Statement of Call, our goals and the diversity of our congregation.
Voting begins on June 10th following all three services in the Fellowship Hall. Full members of Foundry will be eligible to vote on June 10th and 17th following all three services. Voters will be required to sign out/in ballots so that people may only vote once but do not have to be present at the Church Conference, which will be hosted on June 24th at 12:30pm for voting by full members, counting of ballots and announcement of the 9-member Foundry Management Board.
