Rev. Dr. Malcolm Frazier Appointed to Foundry

The Rev. Dr. Malcolm will begin on July 1, 2018 as our
Senior Associate Pastor/Director of Hospitality and Congregational Care.
Pastor Malcolm is an ordained elder
in the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the
United Methodist Church. He is a senior project
manager at Global Ministries in Atlanta, Georgia.

His previous positions at the agency were United
States Regional Office Representative and Executive
Secretary of Mission Volunteers. Before joining
the Board, Malcolm served as the Director of the
Wesley Foundation United Methodist Campus Ministry at Howard University
in Washington, D.C., and as the Associate Pastor at Asbury United
Methodist Church in Washington, D.C.

Malcolm has served as an adjunct faculty member at Wesley Theological
Seminary. He earned his B.A. in French from Windham College in Putney,
Vermont, and his Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from
Wesley Theological Seminary. Malcolm transitioned into full-time ministry
in 2000 after having worked for twenty-five years at Hewlett-Packard
Company in Rockville, Maryland, and Rosslyn, Virginia.

He is a native of Gaithersburg, Maryland. He has one daughter, Nicole
Bayles, a son-in-law, Ed Bayles, and two granddaughters, Lola and Luci.
Malcolm is a tennis enthusiast, playing in tennis leagues year-round in
Atlanta, and previously in Manhattan and Montgomery County, Md. His
other hobbies and interests include travel, cooking, physical fitness training,
the arts, and learning about different cultures. His favorite sports teams are
the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees.
