There is a rather cynical
perspective that suggests that the light at the end of the tunnel is the front
of an oncoming train.  But today we are
going to use the online “Urban Dictionary” definition of the phrase.  According to that site, the light at the end
of the tunnel refers to “something that gives you hope for the future after a
long and difficult period.”  Today we
