Ending Homelessness

Foundry United Methodist church is committed to ending chronic homelessness through permanent supportive housing and affordable housing.

For many years, Foundry has served our neighbors without homes through our Friday walk-in mission, Sandwich 1000, cooking at SOME and Christ House, and other ministries.  People who are homeless are part of our congregation. We felt that it was not enough to simply serve people; but that we needed to do more to end homelessness so that everyone could have a home.

The Foundry Homelessness Action Team is building a network of connections with organizations dedicated to ending homelessness in the city through advocacy, public and private partnerships and education.
