Join the Foundry Young Adult Fellowship Group as we kick off the year with food, fellowship, and planning for the upcoming season. We'll gather — masked and socially distanced — on Foundry's Plaza at 1 p.m. on October 24. You can either order a box lunch to pick up when you arrive ($10) or bring your own preferred food or snack. Register for the Young Adult Fellowship Kickoff here. For more information, email youngadult@foundryumc.org.

Asch and Musgrove will be discussing their book "Chocolate City: A History of Race and Democracy in the Nation's Capital," followed by a book signing in our Community Commons. Learn more and register here. Registration for this event is encouraged, but not required.
Our Family Ministries department is in need of volunteers! Our amazing Foundry youth are in need of some youth leaders, and our Childcare Center is in need of some volunteers to love on our Foundry Kids. If you are interested in hanging out on Sunday nights with the Foundry youth or serving in the Foundry Childcare Center, please let Pastor K.C. know. Email kc@foundryumc.org.
Christ House is one of the few dedicated medical spaces in the District for unhoused men. Foundry's been working with Christ House for more than 30 years. During the more strict periods of COVID protocols, we had to put meal preparation at Christ House on hold. But now Christ House is ready to receive fully-vaccinated, masked volunteers. Our team would be no more than three volunteers per-session for the near future. If you'd like to help out, join the group or email Pastor Ben.
The Caring Congregation Care Retreat is an opportunity for lay leaders and care ministries in different churches across the district and conference to learn more about how to give care during this pandemic season. This will be a two-day retreat that will be held both in-person and virtually. Register for the Caring Congregation Retreat and learn more here.
If you are interested in baptism for yourself or a loved one, please join us online on Sunday, October 17 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. where we will discuss the specifics of United Methodist baptism!
