We are excited to celebrate Pride at Foundry this weekend, June 10–12. On Friday, we will be preparing a float for the Capital Pride Parade. On Saturday, we will be marching in the parade and hosting our annual lemonade stand at Stead Park. To decorate, march in the parade, or help clean up, please contact Rev. Will Ed Green at will@foundryumc.org. To volunteer at our lemonade stand, register at foundryumc.org/lemonade.

We hope to see you for a communal send off for Pastor Will this Sunday, June 12 immediately following both the 9 a.m. and the 11:15 a.m. worship services in our Community Commons. Sunday will be Pastor Will’s last Sunday with us.

In addition to the celebrations, we are collecting a “love offering" to show our appreciation for Pastor Will Ed as he transitions to the church parsonage at Silver Spring UMC. Contributions may be made at foundryumc.org/love-offering until June 19.

Rev. T.C. Morrow was ordained as a Deacon by Bishop LaTrelle Easterling on Friday evening. We give thanks to God for T.C.’s faithfulness in accepting her call to ordained ministry, for her perseverance and grace throughout the long and often painful journey, and for her profound witness of sacred resistance and love for God, God’s people, and the Church. Join us on Sunday, June 12 after both services as we celebrate Pastor T.C. alongside Pastor Will.
