Greetings from the Foundry Toddler Council!

When Foundry launched its “A Future with Hope” stewardship campaign in Fall 2022, we were babies. Now look at us…full-fledged toddlers. We love to listen to Mr. Jonathan tell rather colorful stories during service, hang out in the BIG kid’s side of the nursery, and eat all kinds of yummy food – shout out Ms. Rosa!

We grow by noticing things. And when we stare at you Foundry adults with our ridiculously cute faces, we have observed that in 2023 you already have brought A LOT of hope:
 

• 2 big donations of clothes to Charlie’s Place
• 5 potluck dinners for the LGBTQIA+ community
• 11 Foundry members participating in a year-long antiracism cohort
• 25-30 people fed each month at Christ House
• 70-90 ESL students taught each year
• 500 clients through ID Ministry
• 1000 sandwiches for Miriam’s Kitchen every 2 weeks
• 15,000 meals packed through Rise for Hunger

Did we mention that you are also pretty great generally at celebrating God’s awesomeness? Can you believe there are 13 active discipleship groups? And that we have been blessed with 9 guest clergy? You are really testing our ability to count.

All of this gives us hope that the world will be a joyful place for our neighbors and for us. Thank you Foundry big people for sharing your time, your talents, and your resources. Keep it up!
