Greetings Foundry family!

I am excited to share information about the slates of servant leaders who have said “yes!” to the call to serve on Foundry’s Board and Nominating Committee. These slates will be voted upon at a Church Conference THIS SUNDAY, JUNE 25, AT 10:15 A.M. IN THE SANCTUARY. You can view the slate online at foundryumc.org/slate.

For a variety of reasons, including diversity and workload management, the Nominating Committee, with Board approval, has increased the number of persons who will serve on both the Board and Nominating Committee. If elected, we will be blessed by a talented, diverse group who will join continuing leaders to strengthen our congregation in the years ahead.

The Board make-up will be constituted this way (New members are in RED):

At Large:
1. Nick Jesse*
2. Amanda Beadle*

2024 Class:
1. Allison Kramer
2. Ann Brown Birkel

2025 Class:

4. Mike Lawson

Board Officers and Chairs of Finance, Audit, Personnel, Governance, Facilities, Nominations, and Religion and Racial Justice will be determined by the Board at their July meeting.

I want to close by saying a big “Thank you!” to Ann Brown Birkel, Chair, and to all the members of the Nominating Committee who did incredibly faithful work in my absence. Please pray for the members of the slates and for all our servant leaders who give so generously of themselves to our shared life.
with gratitude and hope,
