Important Building Update: March 19

March 19, 2022

Foundry family,

On Friday, March 18, a leak was discovered on the lower level of Foundry’s education wing (the section of the building that contains our classrooms, administrative offices, and gendered restrooms).

Staff worked throughout the day yesterday to locate the source of the leak and called plumbers to attempt a repair. Contractors were on site today to address clean up and remediation.

The leak was significant and not able to be repaired in time for Sunday worship tomorrow, March 20. As a result, the restrooms in the education wing will not be operable until the repair can be completed. The education wing and gendered restrooms will be closed Sunday, March 20.

The two all-gender restrooms located off the Sanctuary and Narthex will be available for use on Sunday. As usual, we ask that you enter and exit using the front doors of the Church.  Ushers and Staff will be available to help direct traffic and answer any questions you may have.

Childcare, Children's Worship, and Sunday School will be fully operational this Sunday. Childcare (Infants to Pre-K) will utilize an adapted space in the Youth Room. Children's Worship (9 a.m. service only) and Sunday School (Pre-K to 5th grade) will be offered in the Fellowship Hall. Youth@Night will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Youth Room.

We realize the inconvenience this causes, and ask for your patience as we work to restore our building to full functionality. We hope you will still join us for our Sunday worship celebrations at both 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. as we continue to journey through the Lenten Season together as beloved community.

Thank you for your patience as we work through this challenge together.

Peace,
